What size vehicle do I need to move my home?

This depends on certain factors – the volume and weight of your belongings. You may think that you do not have a great deal of furniture and it will require a small van but if your belongings are particularly heavy such as oak furniture of boxes of records or books, this will have an impact on the gross weight of the vehicle.Here at Howarths Removals, our highly skilled surveyors will visit your property FREE OF CHARGE to work out how the move will go by checking home access and assessing how many removal porters and what size vehicle you will require for your move.This will ensure that on moving day, everything goes smoothly.

Can accommodate a 4-5 bedroom house. This has a capacity of 2000 cubic feet.

Suitable for a 3-4 bedroom house.

3.5 Tonne LoLoader van

For small moves – depending on the amount of furniture being transported, this would comfortably accommodate a 1-2 bedroom house.

3.5 Tonne LWB van

This van is perfect for getting down tight and narrow access properties and is used regularly for trans shipping removals (where a large truck is needed to move our customer but access is tricky, so we use this van to ferry belongings to to larger truck when loading).

Also perfect for single items or a very small removal .

3.5 Tonne Luton van

Great for narrow access removals when trans shipping is needed or it can accommodate a very small removal (1 bedroom house/flat).
